WHAT TYPES OF FILLER DO WE HAVE?
LIPS
Lip filler is one of our most commonly requested treatments, and it can provide for a variety of different goals. It can give plumpness, hydration, smoothness, and definition, depending on the type of fillers that are used. In order from thinnest to thickest filler, the options we have for lip filler are as follows:
Juvederm Ultra: middle of the road, and most commonly used filler. Creates structure, and subtle volume.
Kysse: designed exclusively for lip augmentation. Its unique formulation provides natural-looking volume, definition, and flexibility, ensuring aesthetically pleasing and long-lasting results.
Juvederm Ultra Plus: provides more volume and structure to create a plump pout.
FINE LINES
For fine to deep lines, fillers can create a smoother look without compromising movement in the face. In order from thinnest to thickest filler, the options we have for fine line filler are as follows:
Refyne: indicated for mild to moderate lines around the mouth due to its thin consistency and flexibility.
Vollure: a more substantial filler that has a more durable distribution that translates to more stable volume restoration in the nasiolabial folds, and “smile/laugh” lines.
Juvederm Ultra and Juvederm Ultra Plus: address moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. While Juvederm Ultra is suitable for treating finer lines, Ultra Plus, with its thicker consistency, is often preferred for deeper lines and folds.
Defyne: designed to soften moderate to severe lines such as marionette lines (deep lines that form on either side of the chin and give the appearance of a marionette puppet).
CHEEKS
Adding lost volume to the cheeks can help to lift the face, and give an overall more youthful appearance. In order from thinnest to thickest filler, the options we have for cheek filler are as follows:
Contour: formulated for mid-face and cheek augmentation. It provides a lifting effect, restoring volume and contour to areas affected by age-related volume loss.
Voluma: most commonly used for cheeks in our office, Voluma is a deep injection that adds volume beneath the skin's surface.
CHIN
Filler in the chin area is used to add volume and tighten the skin around the injection area. It can help add symmetry, enhance the overall facial profile, and address a recessive chin. In order from thinnest to thickest filler, the options we have for chin filler are as follows:
Defyne: can correct mild-to-moderate chin retrusion, with 98% of patients having improved double chin appearance after treatment.
Voluma: designed for deep augmentation of the chin region to improve the chin profile.
JAWLINE
Provide definition and elongation with jaw filler. This is one of our favorite procedures to help lift the lower face, and stop the signs of “joweling”, or when the sides of the face start to droop past the jawline.
Volux: was developed for facial contouring and sculpting and is the only FDA-approved filler for the jawline. With a thicker and more robust formulation, Volux provides structural support, creating a harmonious balance in facial proportions.

Side effects were moderate (uncomfortable), and generally lasted 2 to 4 weeks. As with all skin injection procedures, there is a risk of infection.
